National Trust are one of the four partners supporting the Woodland Routes to Wellbeing Project.
National Trust and Growing Space work closely together to develop this community space.
There are four distinct areas to the Laundry, community growing beds, sensory garden, community training kitchen and garden of tranquillity. These areas are managed by Growing Space as part of the Woodland Routes to Wellbeing project.
The areas create a community space to be enjoyed by all offering:
- Quiet space for relaxation and contemplation
- Sensory garden with scented tactile plants
- Raised bedding to allow wheelchair users the benefits of being outdoors and cultivating plants
- Supporting adults with mental health issues
The areas is supported by volunteers.
